Community enrichment and planning projects take time - both to create well thought out plans and to garner
public feedback and consensus on the way to move forward. Hinesburg makes progress every day on projects to

Bissonette Recreational Facility
The Town of Hinesburg has been offered a parcel of land near the southwest corner of the intersection
of Shelburne Falls Road and VT Route 116 for use as new recreational fields.

Public Safety Facility
The Public Safety Facilities Committee has spent the last year working to develop a comprehensive
solution to the public safety facility needs in Hinesburg, and a long-term vision for the development

Rural Area Zoning
Furthering the goals of the Town Plan is the ongoing work of the Planning Commission as they seek to
bring land use regulations and the rural area vision of the Town Plan together.

This project attempts to create a coherent physical plan for the Village Growth Area that connects and
integrates potential mixed uses based on the Town’s existing zoning regulations and official map.

Forms Zoning/Bianchi Statement Application
Submit if you would like the Zoning Administrator to research whether a property has all its required permits
(building permits, certificates of occupancy, etc.). This search is frequently required by mortgage lenders when
a property is sold.
