The Village Steering Committee was formed in October 2005. The mission of the Hinesburg
Village Steering Committee is:
- to gather, generate and prioritize ideas and plans which will help to enhance the
quality of life in the village;
- to bring these ideas forward in an advisory manner to the elected officials, appointed
boards and commissions and town staff;
- to serve as a voice for the residents and businesses located in the village area.
|
|
The Village Steering Committee is working to develop a coherent physical
plan for the village growth area that connects and integrates potential mixed uses. This physical
plan will be based on the Town’s existing zoning regulations and official map, and help further
the Town Plan through the use of mapping and 3-D development visualizations. Learn more about the
project on the
Village Visualization Project page.
